Fear of dentists is very common. Probably because it's pretty normal to panic of someone poking around at your teeth whilst wielding a drill. Therefore the big question is how to get over your dentist fear?

1. Locate a good dentist

Ask your friends and work colleagues who they use and whether their dentist includes a good manner. Hard as it is to believe when you're laid back in that chair with orally open and vulnerable, but dentists are people too. Some deal better with nervous patients than others.

2. Interview your dentist
